Sat on the Tarmac at Heathrow airport London gave me my first opportunity to love my generation.

A 50-minute delay prior to a 7hr flight gave me ample time to chat to the guy next to me! Conversation was easy and before long the 50 minutes had gone!
Our conversation lead us to situations in this mans life that were tragic, situations that had lead him to some incredibly difficult times to process. His honesty and openness to talk was inspiring and throughout our conversation I was able to bring some positive ways forward for in these difficult times.
We spoke about life, beliefs and forward movement. We talked about faith and hope despite what we face. We talked about loving a generation just because we can.

I was able to connect him to key people we knew in the city he lived in and I’m hopeful that together his world can once again be a great place.
Meeting him was one of the best parts of my trip to Australia.
