Petrol Pump

May 21st, 2010 // In: I Gave A Card // By: Comments 0

I knew that if a gen card was going to be both spontaneous and planned it hard to be a plan based somewhere that
i found myself regularly. The petrol station opposite my flat afforded the perfect venue.

I knew I wanted to pay for someones petrol before they could get from the pump to the till but also wanted it to be
the right person. Having wimped out more than once and kicked myself for it I finally manned up and got involved.

A mum struggling with two young kids was filling up her car while trying to keep them under control was filling up
as I walked in for bread and milk, I knew I had to respond to the wrenching in my stomach. I paid for my bread and
milk and also pump 2, (with my eyes closed knowing if she had filled the tank it wasn’t going to be cheap.)

I left an ilovemygen card, and smiled as I walked away.
If it made her day even a little bit easier then it was definately worthwhile.
